Stitcher uses your location to provide you with content specific to your area. The main way this is used is to create a local station relative to your city. If you go to Browse Shows, scroll down and tap the Local category, you will see a station titled “Local for [city], [state]”. This station is custom built to include shows that are relevant to your local area. If Stitcher doesn’t have your location then the station title is “Create my local station”.
