Click the Kingdom Map on the left side. You then go into the world and can find the Ruins with blue light. You can explore in Ruins to protect the troops. You can get some resources and exp during exploring the ruins.
Note: You won’t lose any soldiers during explorations, the rewards are increased too.
The ruins located on the world map, you need to find it by yourself.
