Gathering and Growing Ingredients at Greenhouses – Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Guide

Greenhouses are in-game locations where you can gather and grow ingredients for brewing Potions.

Gathering ingredients at Greenhouse locations

Walk up to a Greenhouse and tap it to enter the in-game location. Once inside, place your finger on one of the pots, then drag your finger up to pull the mystery ingredient out. In some cases, you may also receive Spell Energy.A red flag will appear above the Greenhouse to show when you’ve collected ingredients from it. You will have to wait sometime before collecting from the Greenhouse again.

Growing ingredients

Gather seeds and water from the Map and use them to grow ingredients with the growing pots at Greenhouse locations. Each pot can grow up to one kind of ingredient. Selecting ingredients to grow

Walk up to a Greenhouse and tap it to enter the in-game location.

Once inside, find the Growing tab near the bottom of the screen to reach the growing pot.

Tap the green Grow button to open a list of ingredients you can grow.

Tap the copper-colored Grow button to add the materials to the pot: seed and water. If you don’t have enough materials to grow an ingredient, the Grow button will appear grayed out.

Contributing Spell EnergyWhile an ingredient is growing, players visiting the Greenhouse can contribute their Spell Energy to the pot. Adding Spell Energy during the growing process can increase the number of ingredients the plant will yield. Greenhouses with growing ingredients are easy to spot – these locations take on a green glowing appearance when something is growing there. If you’re not close enough to interact with the location, you can still tap on the Greenhouse to see which ingredients are growing there and how much time is remaining. Once you enter the Greenhouse, access the growing pot to attend to the ingredient. The Spell Energy meter near the top of the screen shows how much the plant can yield. The solid blue bar inside the meter shows the amount of Spell Energy other players have contributed. To contribute Spell Energy, tap the (+) button to increase the amount you wish to invest. A preview of the amount of Spell Energy you’re contributing and its effect can be seen in the ingredient yield bar. When you’re ready, place your finger on the screen and trace the Herbivicus spell to add the Spell Energy. Collecting ingredientsOnce the timer runs out and the plant is fully grown, collect ingredients on the Map outside of the Greenhouse. Ingredients grown in Greenhouses will spawn onto the Map and remain available for any player to collect for up to 60 minutes. You do not need to contribute to the growing in order to harvest the ingredients.
