FarmVille – What’s the difference between Posts and Requests?

Requests:
 are help from your Neighbors to be able to complete Buildings, Quests, etc 

Posts: 
are requests that are posted to your wall and require Friends/Neighbors to click them for you to receive the Items

Requests
 are directly sent to your Friends/Neighbors to their FarmVille Requests Envelope, this Envelope normally pops-up when starting the game or can be opened by clicking the white envelope on the top right corner of the Game.
