The level 54 allows to stop and spot possible matches to create bombs before starting the level. It is advised to make your first matches very quickly in different parts of the field, so that auto-matches would clear the chains and create power-ups.
After that you need to slow down a little and make matches in those parts where there are still tiles. Still, do not lose any opportunity to create power-ups.
