What is Operation Killswitch?Operation Killswitch is a weekly timed event that runs every Tuesday! Beat a gauntlet of 20 challenging maps and earn cool rewards!How can I access this Operation Killswitch?You can access Operation Killswitch via the HUD icon on your base or the feature icon on the globe menu when the feature is live. You need to liberate the North African region of the GRA on the globe to qualify for the event.What’s new in Operation Killswitch?Operation Killswitch now features challenging 20 PvP based maps and an enormous amount of resources as the first milestone reward that doubles or triples as you progress through the feature. Earning all the milestones grants you a power up that gives you the Golden Orbital Strike power up. Applying this power up to your Weapons Command structure on your base gives you a Free Orbital Strike per battle for an hour. What rewards can be earned in Operation Killswitch and when will I get them?Operation Killswitch gives plenty of rewards. You earn resource rewards, War Factory components, Cybernetic Cores and medals at the end of battles. You can earn the rare Uplink module, with a small chance in every battle and a guaranteed drop for winning battles 13,16,19 and 20. In addition, there are bonus milestone rewards. Stars earned in Killswitch battles count towards your milestone progress. Earn 40 stars to win an enormous bounty of resources. Earning 50 stars doubles that bounty. Earn 60 stars to triple the bounty and earn the Golden Orbital Strike power up. Rewards you earn will be added to your gift box at the end of the feature or when you earn 60 stars (whichever comes first).What is the Golden Orbital Strike Power up reward, and how can I earn it?Collect 60 stars in Killswitch battles by securing a 3 star victory in every battle to earn this power up. It will be added to your gift box. You need a free space in your inventory to store it. Drag this power up on to your Weapons Command building to activate it. It will give you a free Orbital Strike per battle for 1 hour from the time of activation. This power up stacks with the free orbital strike you get from crafting an Ion Cannon. In such a case, you get two free Orbital Strikes per battle.What are the Milestone Rewards in Operation Killswitch? How and when can I get them?The victory stars you earn in Operation Killswitch will count towards your milestone progress. Earn 40 stars to win an enormous bounty of resources. Earning 50 stars doubles that bounty. Earn 60 stars to triple the bounty and earn the Golden Orbital Strike power up. Rewards you earn will be added to your gift box at the end of the feature or when you earn 60 stars (whichever comes first).Can I replay Operation Killswitch?If you beat all 20 maps in Operation Killswitch within the feature time limit, you can choose to replay the feature and earn all the rewards a second time. Your milestone bar will be rest and past progress will not count for your second playthrough. If you have time left on the bonus command points or free nuke boosts purchased, they will still be usable till their timers run out. You can equip the Golden Orbital Strike power up for this play through.I replayed a battle and earned a 1/2 Star victory several times, but the progress wasn’t added to my milestone bar OR How does the milestone counter work?The milestone bar in Operation Killswitch counts the stars earned through Operation Killswitch battles. Each star earned per battle count only once. If you do not secure a 3 star victory on a map, you can retry the battle to improve your result. Only the Stars earned the first time or from an improved result count towards the milestone progress. Also note that you will not earn loot for a battle you’ve already secured a victory on, be it a 1 star or two star victory. You will be rewarded for a victory on a map once only.What boosts are available in Operation Killswitch to help me progress fast?There are two boosts purchasable in Operation Killswitch that will help you progress faster. They are:Command Point Boost: Purchasing this boost will grant you 10 additional Command Points at the start of every battle for sixty minutes from the time of purchase.Nuke: Purchasing this boost will give you a free nuke at the star of every battle fifteen minutes from the time of purchase.Please remember, these boosts are applicable only to Operation Killswitch and will not be usable outside this feature. How can I access the boosts in Operation Killswitch and how do I apply them?Click on the ‘boosts’ button on the right-hand side of Operation Killswitch’s map screen to enter the boost purchase menu. Purchasing the boost automatically activates it and starts their timers. You will see the remaining duration of the boost on the purchase screen and the map screen. If you complete all 20 maps in Operation Killswitch with time remaining on purchased boosts, you can replay the feature once to earn rewards again and use the remaining time of the boosts. Boosts get deactivated once you finish the feature a second time.
