With a purchase cost of 8 million Gold, the Eagle arrives just in time to protect your Village from any massive attack. This new defensive unit works similarly to the mortar – meaning its large attack radius will beam enemies from afar. But be wary: like the mortar it has a ‘dead-zone’, providing a strategic advantage to close up attackers.
Keep in mind: due to the high cost of firing, the Eagle Artillery won’t operate until at least 180 spaces worth of troops and spells have been deployed (cumulatively).
Also, due to its destructive power, Eagle Artillery takes time to charge and shoot. Its preferred targets are large, concentrated groups of troops…once on lock, three projectiles fire, dealing huge splash damage within the impact zone. Damage is very high in the center of the attack zone, and lesser in the surrounding area.
