In the name of Fair Play, the stewards of this Derby have established the following rules for all participants:
-The Derby will last 6 days and will include a 24-hour cool down period between each competition.
-The Derby will start at the same time for all Neighborhoods.
-Your Neighborhood will randomly get matched against similarly sized ‘hoods. Neighborhoods are matched randomly, always with others of the same size and from the same league.
-If a player joins a Neighborhood or "opts in" during a Derby, they must wait until the next Derby starts in order to participate.
-If there’s a task that nobody wants to do, the Leader, co-leaders or elders have the option to Trash it. The Neighborhood will receive a new one after a short cool down period.
-Every member can take a maximum of 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 tasks per Derby depending on which league they are to contribute points for the race.
-If you realize that you are not happy with a task you have chosen, you can still trash it. Though, this task will be taken off from the weekly tasks you are allowed to complete – so, be careful which tasks you choose.
-Tasks vary in difficulty. The more difficult the task, the more Derby points you’ll receive for completing it.
-If there is a tie for the top 3 standings, the Neighborhood that first reached the winning score will take the lead.
-You must have at least one Horseshoe to be eligible for a podium (top three) and to go up to the next league.
-If you leave your Neighborhood before the Derby is over, you won’t be able to claim any prizes.
-if you opt out during a Derby, you will be excluded only once the next Derby starts.
– The minimum amount of neighbors that can participate is 1, but remember: the bigger the Neighborhood, the easier is it to win rewards!
