You can follow other players’ farms (up to 10) by visiting them and tapping on the "bookmark" icon to the right of their avatar. After you have followed a farmer, he/she will show up in your friends list, but with a blue frame instead of the normal yellow one.
To unfollow, go back to the player’s farm and simply tap on the same "bookmark" icon.
