Here is what you should do if a player in your Task Force is posting inappropriate chat messages:
- tap on the message
- tap the Report button
- tap the Hide button (if you are an Officer)
Using the Report button does not automatically end up in a ban for the reported user. However, every report is manually reviewed by our moderators and taken seriously. Due to the amount of reports we receive, it can take up to 48h until a report is reviewed.
We kindly ask you not to misuse the Report button. The more false reports we receive, the longer it will take us to take care of the really urgent matters.
Here are some tips what Task Force leaders and Co-Leaders can do to prevent offensive behavior in the first place:
If your Task Force settings are set to "Anyone can join", you might want to restrict them to "Join by request" or "Closed" in order to best control whoever comes and goes.
You can also choose to filter out inappropriate language by turning on the profanity filter. Task Force leaders and Co-Leaders can do that in the Task Force settings page.
Leaders can hide offensive messages in the chat by tapping on them and selecting "Hide".
Also note: If a player is kicked out of a Task Force, he/she is not able to join the Task Force for 24 hours. If a request to join is denied, the player must wait 24 hours before sending a new one. Our hope is that this will help prevent offensive players from harassing Task Forces.
