You can easily enable and disable the Caller ID notifications.
Open up the left side menu>Settings>Caller ID
Uncheck "Caller ID" – will remove Caller iD pop ups during incoming calls
Uncheck "Enable Text Messages ID" – will remove the notifications when someone texts you.
