This might be due to Facebook integration with your Android device, which adds your Facebook friends to your device contact list.
This is unrelated to Sync.ME, and can be disabled by doing the following:
Open up the Facebook app>go to the App Settings>Sync contacts>Don’t Sync.
This should remove the extra Facebook contacts from your device contact list.
