In the past couple of weeks, there has been several issues and complaints about the Dominion Wars on some servers. The reason is that the Dominion system has some loopholes which can be exploited when there aren’t enough guilds to compete.
Main issues are as follows, and some will be improved/fixed during the next maintenance on Sept. 21st.
1- Alt guilds created to adjust the matchmaking
why it happens: this is mainly due to the low number of guilds;
when it will be solved: we are not sure yet; but it could be in a future update by making the matchmaking random, preventing players to tag to halls once they entered one already or it could be a merge in the future

2- Farming other guilds to make points with kills
why it happens: in certain circumstances, you can get more points with kills than winning the battle
when it will be solve: first step on Sept21, winning points will be increased from 300 to 1,000 per win.
3- Only the winner gets rewarded with the hall
why it happens: low number of guilds and issue 1 reduces the possible turnover; rental points given are low
when it will be solved: first step on Sept21, rental points will be increased with the 2nd guild receiving 600pts per hall (instead of 200), and so on. Other actions may follow (currently the rental points obtained are the same for the 3 halls difficulty, this could change in the future).
Again the main issue remains the low number of high level guilds in the level 60 halls, while the Dominion requires 5 guilds to work well.
We can understand the frustration from players or guilds, when they see others using these loopholes. These issues never occurred in other territories, and as such it requires and will still require some development work to improve this…
Please be sure that our interest and goal is to provide a fair environment to players, but sometimes things happen and it is not always that easy to solve 🙂
