If you have an avatar equipped, you won’t be able to see your mount when riding.
The reason is that some avatars can be huge, or humanoid, or beast-like and couldn’t be displayed properly on a mount. Imagine a white bear riding a tiger!
To see your mount, just unequip your avatar.
No worries, you will get the bonus stats of both the mount and avatars, whatever you chose to display!
