Arcane Online-[COMBAT] What are the 2 damage numbers on top of enemies-[Arcane Online]

In version 2.2, the Physical/Magic damage and Elemental damage are split.
When you hit an enemy, you will see a big number which represents the damage dealt by your skills: Physical/Magic damage depending on your class.
On top of that you will see a rainbow icon with another number, which represents your Elemental damage.
As a reminder:
What damage does my class deals?
  • Archer and Warrior: Physical damage only
  • Mage: Magic damage only
  • Shaman: Magic damage for all skills BUT the basic staff attack (the big button that hits in melee)
How does Elemental damage work?
Elemental damage is only dependent on your Elemental damage value, minus the target’s Elemental damage resist; and so on for each Element.
Elemental damage is added on top of the skill damage.
Example:
  • If you have 1000 Fire damage and target has 200 Fire resist, each skill will deal an additional 800 damage.
  • Vice versa if you have 200 Poison damage but target has 300 Poison resist, then you will deal 0 Poison damage
Where are the Shards in this?
Shards are special items that increase your elemental damage further, however they do not apply on specific skills at the moment (like the Shaman snakes which do not deal elemental damage, or the Mage armors). This could change in the future, we will update if that’s the case.
