While in the shop view, you can hire a new worker by tapping or clicking the worker management icon (magenta hammer shield icon) on the left navigation bar and selecting the worker you wish to hire. After being hired, your new worker will automatically show up within your shop .
You will need a free slot to hire a new worker. You will find the slot menu by clicking the "Add Slot" button in the top-left corner of the Worker menu. You can unlock additional slots using gold or gems. Unlocking slots with gems will bypass all level requirements for that slot, all additional slots will maintain their specific level requirements. There are a maximum of 8 slots in total.
Workers come in 5 tiers that affect their skills and points awarded for skills when leveling:
- Tier 1: 5 Points per Level and 100 Gold for original hire
- Tier 2: 7 Points per Level and 10,000 Gold for original hire
- Tier 3: 10 Points per Level and 250,000 Gold for original hire
- Tier 4: 12 Points per Level and 100,000 Gold for original hire
- Tier 5: 15 Points per Level and 100,000 Gold for original hire
