What are regatta leagues? What kinds of leagues are there?
Leagues show the progress your co-op is making in regattas, and there are five of them to spice up the competition between co-ops. Co-ops compete in leagues. Based on regatta results, your co-op can be promoted or demoted between leagues according to the following rules:
– Co-ops that finish in the top three and collect at least one buoy are promoted to the next higher league
– Co-ops that finish in the bottom three or fail to collect at least one buoy are demoted to the next lower league
– Co-ops that finish in the middle (4th–12th place) stay in the same league
The league your co-op is in determines the number of tasks you can complete and thus the number of buoys you can collect:
Wooden League — 7 tasks, 5 buoys
Copper League — 9 tasks, 6 buoys
Steel League — 11 tasks, 7 buoys
Silver League — 13 tasks, 8 buoys
Golden League — 15 tasks, 9 buoys
