During the effective time of Peace Shield, your war behaviours (including scout, attack, rally, occupy buildings in the Battle for the Throne and Dragon Campaign and other behaviours) will break your Peace shield and cause a cool-down time(CD) before you use another peace shield. To use another peace shield, you have to wait until the cool-down time ends.

The duration of the cool-down time for peace shield is determined by the remaining time of your current Peace Shield. The longer the remaining time of current [Peace Shield], the longer the CD before using next Peace Shield will be.
[Notice]
If your castle level is 5 and lower, there won’t be any CD when you use Peace Shield. Breaking peace shield in the Ancient Battlefield and the Dragon Campaign battlefield won’t cause any CD.
