Strength and Vitality are two resources you can use to upgrade your Epic Gear for each Epic Hero under the new Crystals tab in the Epic Forge! Strength (red for damage) and Vitality (blue for health) can be used to fill your Hero’s new Epic Gear Crystal to achieve an added bonus (extra damage or health). You can even mix them by filling the Crystal with some of each to concoct an Aspect boost! Earn them from Portal Lords and collect them from the Fortress at the end of the Raid. The ability to craft Crystals unlocks once the Hero’s Epic Gear is Forged. Pressing reset after you’ve added something to the Crystal will start you back at 0%. Your resources won’t actually get added until you’re happy with what you add and press confirm. To add the bonus when the Crystal is full, you’ll need to spend some Hero Shards and Epic Gear Shards to complete the process. If you’re in a pinch and need more Strength and Vitality asap, you can shatter a completed Crystal and get 50% of the ingredients back.
