You’ll promote your Heroes to Gold after getting all the way through Red rarity. Gold builds upon Red, or Honor, by giving you the option to toggle between the two Honor Classes for each previously Red Hero. Whichever class you had selected at the time your Hero promoted from Red to Gold will be enabled when you first get to Gold. You can keep that one active while you complete the recipe for the second class. Once complete, you can switch between the classes as much as you’d like!There is no cost to switch between the two classes.
