Lords & Knights Guide – What happens to any attacks, resource transports and supporting troops once the city has been created?

All running transports and supporting troops targeting the fortresses that are bound to the city center will be sent to the city center (the new city) as soon as the city has been created. Current incoming attacks are canceled though.
