If you’re not finding enough resources near your City on the World Map, there are a few things you can do. You or your allies can mine and exhaust the resources around your base, cleaning up the area. Cleaning up the area like this speeds up the refreshment of resource plots. Otherwise it may take some time before resources refresh on their own.
A more extreme solution is to move to another area with richer resources. If you have not reached level 6, you can use your newbie teleport. Otherwise, moving requires a Random Teleport or Advanced Teleport. You may want to try clearing resources first before taking this step.
Finally you can try attacking other players to loot their resources. Be careful though, your enemies or their alliance members may decide to attack you back!
