In the gem window, you will find 5 different areas in which you can search for gems.Tap any area that is lit up in order to search for gems.
- Everyday you will receive 3 free gem searches. If you find a gem, it will be automatically placed into your gem bag.
- Each search has a chance of unlocking the next area, with each progressive area having a higher chance to find more powerful gems, whilst also costing more copper coins.
- once an advanced area has been searched, it will reset and must be unlocked again.
- You will not always find gems. Sometimes you will come across gem fragments or nothing at all. If you find nothing at all, a portion of the cost may be refunded.
- You can also use copper coins to automatically explore for gems. This is much faster than tapping through one by one. You can stop the process at any time by tapping _stop_.
- Gem fragments can be used by clicking on _exchange_

Gold coins can also be used to search for gems, with 2 gold coins giving you 10 searches.
- Gem explore coupons will be used before gold coins are deducted, with 1 token being worth 10 free explores. To use a gem explore coupon, click on gold coin explore and choose the amount equal to the amount of coupons you have. The amount of gold coins used will be _0_.
- These searches are done instantly, and you can choose to automatically synthesize the gems you find.
