Gold coins are the standard currency of Age of Warring Empire. You can use them to buy the best heroes and weapons, making your empire a force to be reckoned with!
You can use gold coins to speed up construction, training and research. In the relevant building_s window, press the green button (displaying the price) to instantly complete the upgrade/training/construction. As long as you have enough gold coins, the work you wish to accelerate should finish instantaneously.
Gold coins can also be used in the shop to buy heroes, resources, buffs, and a variety of other things. Some deals in the shop will only be available for a limited time.
You can see your total number of gold coins in the top right corner of your main screen. You can earn more in certain events, by completing Daily Tasks, or you can buy them within the App.
All event rewards, task rewards, and items purchased with gold will be placed directly into your inventory. Select the _treasure chest_ icon near the lower-right of your screen to open the Shop and your Inventory.
The Shop and Inventory tabs have four sub-tabs: General, Resources, Military, and Buff.
- General: Here you can find gems, cast iron, heroes, etc.
- Resources: Items here can be used to top-off the resources in your warehouse.
- Military: This includes Troop Replenishment Cards, city-moving cards, gems, and cast iron.
- Buff: Includes all available buffs.
If you activate a buff, you can see its effects and remaining duration in your inventory.
