Age Of Warring Empire – Explanation of Skill Terms

Sear: The seared target suffers Defense
–XX% and takes YY% damage from the attacker who activates the skill until
death. Same effects do not stack.

Chaos: The target in chaos suffers Attack
–XX% takes YY% damage from the attacker who activates the skill until death.
Same effects do not stack.

Freeze: The frozen target cannot attack for
N rounds. When a Frozen target is attacked, it takes 50% extra damage and gets
unfrozen. NPC units cannot be frozen.

Disarm: The disarmed target cannot attack
for 1 round. NPC units cannot be disarmed.

Silence: The silent target cannot activate
hero skill for 1 round.

Hypnotize: The hypnotized target cannot
attack and it has a XX% chance to wake up when attacked.

NPC units cannot be hypnotized.

Poison: The poisoned target takes XX%
damage from the attacker who activates the skill until the end of the battle.
Same effects do not stack.

Envenom: The envenomed target takes XX%
damage from the attacker who activates the skill until the end of the battle.
Same effects do not stack. (Envenom Damage doubles every round, not more than
YY% in total.)

Fetter: The fettered target suffers Dodge
Chance -100% and the damage taken is increased by 30%.

Taunt: All enemy targets are forced to
attack a taunting hero as the primary target. When multiple heroes taunt at the
same time, only the one with the highest HP takes effect. 

Reflect: When activate, the hero who
activates the reflect effect deals XX% damage taken to the attacker.

Counter: When activate, the hero who
activates the counter effect counters at once and deals XX% damage.

Refract: When activate, the refracted
target takes XX% damage and the hero who activates the refract effect reduce the
damage equal to the damage refracted.

Block: When activated, the hero who
activates the block effect takes 40% less damage.

DOT (Damage over Time): DOT includes damage
caused by poison, envenom, chaos, sear and Blood Pact of Marner.

Dodge Chance: When attacked, it has a XX%
chance to activate. When activated, the hero who activates the effect dodge the
attack and shown as MISS.

Precision: When attack, reduce Dodge Chance
of the target by XX%. The effect does not last.

Resistance: When attack, reduce Crit Chance
of the target by XX%. The effect does not last.

Neutralization: When attack, reduce Crit
Damage of the target by XX%. The effect does not last.

Block Chance: When attacked, it has a XX%
chance to activate. When activate, takes 40% less damage.

Penetration: When attack, reduce Block
Chance of the target by XX%. The effect does not last.

Withstand: When an enemy launches Defense
ignoring effect, reduce that effect by XX%.

True Damage: The quantified damage which
neglects Defense, Dodge, Shield and Damage Reduction effects of the targets.
True Damage will not activate Critical strike and HP Recover effects. True
Damage will be affected by “Total Defense”, “Aegis of Wisdom”, “Fire Spirit”
and other damage immune skill effects. True Damage will activate Reflect,
Counter, Refract (Damage of Refract and Reflect will be 0).
