The Map View displays the locations of Pokémon, PokéStops, and Gyms in the real world. 
1. Compass Toggles the viewing direction in Map View. You can switch between a north-viewing direction and auto-rotation, which follows your viewing direction. 2. Gyms Locations where teams battle Pokémon 3. Pokémon GO Plus (appears when paired) 4. PokéStops Locations where Trainers can acquire items such as Poké Balls, Potions, and/or Eggs 5. Trainer Your avatar 6. Profile Icon Shows your progress and achievements 7. Buddy Pokémon Earn Candy as you travel with your buddy and interact with them to increase your Buddy Level. 8. Main Menu Accesses settings, news, items, your Pokédex, the shop, the Battle menu, or the Pokémon menu 9. Weather boosts Displays the current weather conditions and weather boosts in effect 10. Nearby Pokémon Displays Pokémon located nearby, both in the wild and at Gyms
