Release Notes for 2.11.0

New Features/Updates: 

Photo Mode: 

  • Players can now use Ministry ID Portrait Filters, Frames, and Stickers to customize their photos captured with Encounter Photo Mode and Registry Photo Mode!  

General: 

  • Updated the rewards screen in various parts of the game. Tap the drop-down to see a listing of rewards and bonuses you earned from Encounters, Level Up, Wizarding Challenges, and more!
  • Added notifications to remind players when a Portkey is unlocked and when a Friend sends a Gift. 

Bug Fixes

Wizarding Challenges: 

  • Fixed a visual error where the Level Up rewards screen failed to appear when a player Leveled Up after a Wizarding Challenge.

  • New Chamber selection experience! Visit a nearby Fortress to see the updated display of your Player Grade potential rewards!

Daily Login: 

  • Refresh of mystery Daily Login reward. Make sure to log into the game daily to see the new rewards!

Gifting: 

  • Fixed an issue where Friend’s Wizarding Level did not appear in their Friends List entry
  • Fixed an issue with badging (red dot) not appearing on the Gifting icon when a Gift is received

New Features/Updates:

Adventure Sync:

  • Coming soon, Adventure Sync in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite! When you choose to enable this feature, your distance walked will now be recorded for Portkey Portmanteaus, even if the app is not open.

Friends & Gifting:

  • You can now sort your friends alphabetically in ascending/descending order or sort friends that have sent you an unopened Gift

Portkeys:

  • Updated Portkey rewards to include possible Spell Energy rewards when tapping Wrackspurts
  • Refreshed Foundable Fragments which are available as possible rewards
  • New Portkey icons will help you sort through your unlocked Portkeys! 2km Portkeys are displayed as a Boot, 5km Portkeys as a Tea Kettle, and 10km Portkeys as a Deflated Ball

Portmanteaus:

  • Coming Soon, Added 2 additional Portmanteau slots, bringing the total amount of Portmanteaus you can pick up to 10

Bug Fixes:

Potions:

  • Fixed an issue with some players receiving an error when they attempted to collect a brewed Potion

Wizarding Challenges:

  • Fixed an issue with some players receiving an error message when attempting to enter a Wizarding Challenge
  • Fixed an issue with the number of players at a Chamber not updating immediately when other players join the same Chamber
