To access the Settings menu:
- Tap the Suitcase
button on the Map - At the top left corner, tap the Settings
button
The Settings menu is organized into two sections: General and Help.
General Settings Menu options:
SOUND
Music Toggles the background music. This setting is enabled by default.Sound Effects Toggles the sound effects during gameplay. This setting is enabled by default.Vibration Toggles vibrations during gameplay. This setting is enabled by default.
CAMERA
Grant Camera Permission If you haven’t enabled camera permissions or you disabled the camera permissions for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, this option opens your phone’s camera permissions so you can enable them. AR+ Toggles AR+ for features like Portkeys and magical Traces.AR+ in Combat Toggles AR+ feature for combat features in Oddity Traces and Wizarding Challenges.
ADVANCED
Download Over Network Enable your phone to download game updates using your wireless network. This setting is disabled by default.Enable Opening Sequence Toggles the opening sequence when you open the app. This setting is enabled by default.Battery Saver Toggles the battery life optimization feature. This setting is disabled by default.Display Fragment CountToggles the Fragment count for Foundables in your Registry. This setting is enabled by default.Map Camera IdleToggles the Camera to move and center itself in the same direction your Magical Me avatar faces.Trace Auto-AlignWith AR Mode enabled for Trace encounters, toggles the setting to go straight into the encounter when you align the 3 stars. Download All AssetsEnable this setting to download all available game assets to your device at once rather than gradually over time. This setting is disabled by default. Notify About New AssetsTurn on notification badges when new game assets become available for download. When you enable notifications, a red dot will appear over the “Download All Assets” option and notifies when an update is available for download.
Help Settings Menu options:
Code NameThis is your unique Code Name. Other players can see this name at locations like Inns and Fortresses. Sign outExit out of the Harry Potter: Wizards Unite app by signing out of your preferred login provider. You will need to sign back in to access the account. VersionThe Harry Potter: Wizards Unite app version number.Player IDDisplays the email from your preferred login provider. This is the email associated with your Harry Potter: Wizards Unite account.
