Brilliant Events are limited-time events that feature a unique Registry Page, Brilliant Foundables, and Special Assignments. Your objective is to complete Special Assignments and return Brilliant Foundables before the event ends. By doing so, you will receive exclusive rewards for your brilliant achievements.
Brilliant Foundables
As you get out and explore the Map, you may encounter Brilliant Traces in your nearby surroundings. You can detect Brilliant Traces by their distinctive purple aura and the beam of light that runs through them. 
Tap a Brilliant Trace to reveal a Brilliant Foundable and the Confoundable surrounding it. Brilliant Foundables are rare objects, people, and creatures from the wizarding world that you won’t typically find on the Map, except during an event. These Foundables emit a glowing purple aura. 
As you return more and more Brilliant Foundables, you’ll earn Family XP to increase Family ranks and unlock Treasure Trunks. What’s locked inside of these Treasure Trunks is a Brilliant Runestone that you can consume at Fortress locations on the Map, and may lead you to other Brilliant Foundables. The type of Brilliant Runestone determines the Registry reward you may receive. For example, when you use a Fantastic Flora and Fauna Runestone, you may collect a Fantastic Flora and Fauna reward. Note that you are not always guaranteed a Brilliant reward.During your adventure, you may also notice Brilliant Portkey Portmanteaus appearing on the Map. When you have collected some, use a key, then walk the required distance to unlock it – these Muggle-proof trunks contain Brilliant Foundable fragments, Wizard XP, Family XP, and Potion ingredients.
To fill your event Registry Page, be sure to complete the event tasks, return Brilliant Traces, use Brilliant Runestones at Fortresses, and unlock Brilliant Portkey Portmanteaus.Tracking your progressYour event progress is recorded in the Events section of the Registry. You can return to the Registry at any time to see which Brilliant Foundables you’ve returned and which ones are still missing. To access the Brilliant Registry Page for the current event: tap the Suitcase button > Registry > Events. 
Special Assignments
Special Assignments are event tasks provided by the Ministry during unique occasions. Unlike the Daily Tasks that reset each day, event tasks don’t reset. Each event has a limited number of tasks you must complete before they expire. To view your current tasks, tap the Assignments button on the Map. From the Assignments page, tap the Events button located at the bottom of your screen. 
A task may require you to collect food from Inns or return a specific number of Brilliant Foundables, for instance. You’ll receive rewards for completing individual tasks and earn even more for completing all tasks in an Assignment. Additional tasks may unlock as you progress, with the final set providing the best rewards.Note: Claim your rewards before the Brilliant Event expires. Unclaimed items will not arrive in your account after the event ends.
