How do I protect my account from hacks? – Zynga Poker guide

Precautions to safeguard your computer and mobile device from hackers and other threats should always be taken to protect your information. We recommend you to activate the Two-Factor Authentication on your Facebook profile. Once this is activated, a security code will be sent to your device once the system detected an unusual login.To activate:

  • Go to Facebook and click on the drop-down arrow ( ▼ ) located at the upper-right corner of the page.
  • Select Settings. From the left side of the page, click on Security and Login.
  • Scroll down to see the Two-Factor Authentication section.
  • Click on Edit beside the Use two-factor authentication then Get Started. You will be required to re-enter your Facebook password.
  • You can now set-up your account security. Choose a method you prefer.
  • Zynga is not responsible for currency or chips lost when an account is compromised. We recommend taking the following precautions to protect your information.

    • Do not click on suspicious links offering "free chips"
    • Do not download suspicious applications or bookmarks advertising free items
    • Do not insert your Facebook credentials into random or suspicious websites
    • Be cautious of fake or suspicious fan pages promoting free chips and gold
    • Change your passwords frequently and create different unique passwords for different sites
    • Install an antivirus /spyware program
    • Do not open email messages from unfamiliar senders or attachments you do not recognize
    • Integrate a pop-up blocker within your browser
    • Keep your operating system up to date
    • Regularly clear your internet cache and browsing history
