There are two types of single player races, both of which has two different modes. The two types of races are Asphalt and Rally. What distinguishes the two is the type of track you race on. Rally tracks are designed to be more challenging, as it is rough terrain and you need to install upgradeable parts, as well as Rally parts (transmission, suspension and Rally tires) on your car to be able to handle this type of race.On the other hand, Asphalt tracks are much smoother and Rally parts do not have any affect on the Asphalt races. Rally parts do not affect Asphalt races. The two different modes that apply to both Asphalt and Rally are Derby and Time Attack:– In Derby, you race with other cars on the same track at the same time, so you need to avoid crashing into them, as crashes will slow you down and further decrease the condition of your car.- In Time Attack; however, you are the only one racing at the time, but you can still see the "ghosts" of other cars. These ghosts are transparent, therefore it is not possible to have collisions.
