What’s the best way to make sure I don’t lose my save?

Now for the boring stuff. We strongly advise all players to use Game Center, as this means that we will be able to recover your profile should you need us to. Using Game Center will allow you to easily transfer your save file between devices  – better yet, you will be able to earn some sweet achievements.

Moving a profile between devices

We understand that sometimes you will want to move your save file between different devices. That’s why we’ve made it extremely easy, with Apple’s Game Center.

Please note that if you recover your save onto a device that already has CSR Classics data that is NOT linked to a Game Center account, then you will overwrite it, losing it forever. You have been warned!

To swap your profile between devices, please use the following instructions:

Make sure your original device is connected to the internet. Sign into your Game Center account (or create a Game Center account if you haven’t already).

Play CSR Classics for a few minutes. This will connect link your Classics account to your Game Center account.

On your new device, sign into the same Game Center account.

Load CSR Classics. You’ll be prompted to recover your profile onto your second device.

Changing your avatar/display name

Winning is great, but it’s even better if you can see who you leave eating your dust. That’s why we’ve allowed players to link their avatar and display name to their Facebook or Game Center accounts. To change your profile’s settings go to the homepage and select the My Profile tab. Once here, tap your avatar or username to change it. You will need to have linked your CSR Classics profile to your Facebook or Game Center account in order to change these settings.
