CSR Racing 2 – Why am I not getting the reward components for the car I’m using in Legends?

After beating Restoration Rush, the Components in the Campaign are fixed and won’t necessarily match the car/s in the Studio nor the car currently locked-in. Legend Trial events running alongside the Campaigns will match the cars in your Studio if the rewards have a ? displayed on it.
