Empires & Allies – Do I have to deploy the weekly Omega in the robotics bay to attack the opponent?

NO. If the weekly Omega in the robotics bay is alive, then while attacking the player in the Arena of Champions, the Omega which can be deployed into the battlefield will automatically switch to the weekly Omega.
