Alpha Units is a power-up that can be crafted in your War Factory and applied to your Troop Tarmac or Rally Flag. It allows you to trainer stronger, more powerful Alpha Units. Existing troops on your Tarmac or Rally Flag are automatically upgraded to Alpha Units when the power-up is applied and last till the power-up duration expires.
