Gear.Club – What do the car statistics mean?

  • Speed: Top speed you car can reach.
  • Acceleration: Time needed for your car to reach 100km/h.
  • Braking: Distance crossed to go from 100 to 0km/h.
  • Steering: The higher this number is, the easier it is to handle the car. However, a faster car is more difficult to control, which results in a lower steering number.
  • Understeering/Oversteering: This signifies how your car drifts. The weight of a car and how it’s distributed is different for each car, which affects the grip and the overall handling. An oversteering car has more weight in the front and more grip on the front wheels, so it tends to drift; while an understeering car has more grip on the rear wheels, so it tends to go straight rather than drift.
