Commanders,We have seen some questions on the new flash events and want to clarify a couple of points.For ALL level brackets:
- You do not need to be in a critical system, which are marked with indicators, to score. Any anomaly system of the correct level will work. We have been monitoring player performance and have seen a consistent pattern that players that move to less busy systems, even if not critical systems in this round, are able to reach gold medal rankings. For a full list of systems where you can score see check the flash events in-game news, and check the systems that qualify for your event.
- The leaderboards are much wider than normal to help ensure that you can score even if you don’t get many kills, remember that just damaging any hostile will likely result in you obtaining a bronze medal.
For the level 30-38 and 39+ events:
- The critical systems for these events give you +10 extra points per damage (which is on top of the 10 base points per damage). This is 2x the points per damage in those systems, not 10x.
