By default, Flipboard for Android uses a light theme. You can change
it to dark mode independent of your phone’s settings or tell Flipboard
to automatically change themes to match your phone.

Go to your Profile.

Tap the Settings icon.

Choose your preferred Theme in the Options section

Changed your mind? Toggle back to light mode using the same directions
above.

iOS

When your iPhone or iPad is in dark mode, Flipboard will automatically
change themes to match. This requires iOS 13 or newer. Want to turn
on dark mode? Here’s how:

Open the Settings app on iOS.

Go to the Display and Brightness section.

Choose between Light, Dark, and Automatic appearance (see screenshot
below).

For some browsers, Flipboard will automatically change themes to
match dark or light mode.

You can also flip your theme from light to dark on the fly. Just
go to your Profile menu and toggle Dark on or off.
