When you help a friend in Hay Day, they can send you a thank you note! And when they have helped you around your farm, you can also send them a thank you!
By tapping on the friends icon, you will see a tab with an exclamation mark “!” where you will find your friends who need help. Water their plants or help complete the boxes in their boat orders.
The person you helped can send a thank you note by tapping on the envelope icon that now appears near the tree, bush or box you helped with.
Alfred the postman will visit all farms level 15 and above once a day to deliver the notes you receive from other farmers. To collect your letters, just tap on the blue mailbox.
Be careful to check all of your letters, you may find a surprise gift card inside! Even though not all letter contain gift cards, the more you help out other farmers, the higher the chances to get more of these gift cards! But note that you can only receive up to 5 gift cards a day.
Press on the tab that says “Collect all” and your gift cards will be added to the total. You can check the total amount on the cover of your Gift Catalogue.
Gift cards can be exchanged for mystery gifts that can contain diamonds or exclusive decorations and the more gift cards you have the bigger the prize you can claim. You can also exchange gift cards for a random mystery package that can contain tools, expansion items and more.
