How can I add food to my Diary / track food? – iOS – Lifesum guide

1) Manual searchTap ‘+’ in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal. Then enter your keyword in the search bar, search for the food item and track it by clicking on the "+" to the right. Or click on the food item and then on ‘Add to Diary’.

2) Tracking with the barcode scannerTap ‘+’ in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal. Then click on the scanner icon to the right under the search bar. Scan the code and then on "Add to Diary".

3) Tracking via meal in the DiaryClick on the meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks) and then proceed and add meal by either scanning, searching or choose from "Favorites". 
4) Tracking via Recent
In order to find Recents: Tap ‘+’ in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal.
 On the next page you will get a respective list per meal with the following logic:

- Breakfast: shows the latest tracked breakfast food items
- Lunch: shows the latest dinner and lunch food items
- Dinner: shows the latest lunch and dinner food items
- Snacks: shows the latest tracked snack food items

5) Tracking Custom CaloriesTap ‘+’ in the tab bar at the bottom of the app, then choose the required meal. On the next page you see the option "Calories" to the right under the search bar. Click on it and simply add the amount of calories you had and a short description of the food item and click "Add".Diets
